The Fly'n -W- Cattle Company is a family operated business located in Tahoka, Texas. Since 2003 we have been striving to provide quality show calves at affordable prices for 4-H and FFA members alike.

In 2006 we named our business the Fly'n -W- Cattle Company in rememberance of Wacie Barnett who was tragically lost in a car accident in October of 2006. We now freeze brand each steer that leaves our place with a -W- on the non-show side shoulder so that each calf has her mark on them.

We currently run approximately 40 head of American Influenced females that we began purchasing in 2003 and are continuing to add to the herd today. We artifically inseminate all of our cattle each year. In the past we have used AI sires such as Yellow Jacket, Johnny Walker Red, Shamrock, Cherry Bomb, Hired Man, War Man and Buddy Love along with numerous others. Each year after we AI, we turn a proven clean-up bull in with the herd to guarantee that we will have a calf hit the ground.

We have been involved with the Show Steer industry since our children were of age and understand the time and money constraints that projects can put on families throughout the year.

Showing cattle is something our family has done for years and now that our children are grown and the grandchildren are not yet of age, raising cattle is how we stay in touch with our stock show friends and family that we have made over the years and continue building new friendships for the future!!
